In this non-destructive testing method, in order to detect discontinuities in the material to be examined, it is based on the propagation of high frequency (0.1-20 MHZ) supersonic waves produced by the mine probe within the test material and after hitting a discontinuity, they are reflected back to the probe and thus detected by the probe.
