Useful auxiliary device for the daily check-up of the test range adjustment of your ultrasonic instrument or to check linearity and sensitivity:
The adjustment standard is equipped with a Lemo 1 - plug and is connected like a one-crystal probe to the transmitter socket of any arbitrary ultrasonic flaw detector. An echo sequence of 10 consecutive back wall echoes (50 mm steel with cL = 5920 m/s) is typically used for instrument calibration. Also available with 100 mm steel.
